Programs include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>One on one language, cultural, and social mentoring<br><\/strong>Get connected with a mentor to practice English, learn about life in Canada, and make a new connection in the community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Weekly English conversation circles<br><\/strong>Join a small conversation group to practice basic English in a casual environment and meet new people.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Citizenship classes<br><\/strong>Prepare for your upcoming test in a group setting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Income tax support<br><\/strong>KCHC \u2013 Immigrant Services staff and volunteers provide&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.canada.ca\/en\/revenue-agency\/services\/tax\/individuals\/community-volunteer-income-tax-program.html\">basic support with filing taxes<\/a>. Contact us if you would like to receive these services or volunteer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Newcomers Social Group<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Our regular social events provide you with the opportunity to meet new people during our annual potluck in December and our summer Potluck in the Park.
