It is composed of 2 main supports:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>positive reinforcement of negative urine tests (urine negative for crystal methamphetamine = prizes!)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>wrap around care: group counseling, 1:1 supports from addictions counselor, occupational therapist, registered nurse and community support worker<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Eligibility Criteria<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Goal is to abstain completely from (quit) using crystal methamphetamine<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Available to attend program twice a week for 16 weeks<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Not in recovery from a gambling disorder<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Not on certain prescribed stimulant medications<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>How to get started<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Clients must self-refer by calling or dropping to Street Health Centre to make an appointment for an intake with a nurse.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Program schedule<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Street Health Site: Monday and Thursday 9 am &#8211; 12 noon <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Providence Care Site: Monday and Thursday 1:30 &#8211; 3:30 p.m.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Catalyst is a 16-week program aimed at reducing crystal methamphetamine use and bolstering access to health care and social support. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"featured_media":792,"template":"","categories":[14,11,7,8,13],"communities":[18,26],"class_list":["post-210","program","type-program","status-publish","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-drug-use","category-food","category-harm-reduction","category-healthcare","category-mental-health","communities-adults","communities-people-who-use-drugs"],"acf":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v26.5 -
